Wine To Water is a 501(c)(3) non-profit aid organization focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. Nearly one billion people in the world today lack access to adequate water and 2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation. We are devoted to fighting this epidemic.

Wine symbolizes fortune in our society. Our goal is to give the fortunate population an opportunity to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.

An Evening To Benefit Wine To Water

In Africa alone, women and children spend 40 billion hours a year walking for water.

On Saturday, October 15, BRAVA Creative will host a fundraiser to benefit Wine To Water - a 501(c) (3) non-profit aid organization that provides clean water and sustainable water systems to needy people around the world.

An upscale and fun social gathering, the event features wine tastings, passed hors d'oeuvres, opportunity drawings, and more. We're expecting 200 guests - all of whom will have the chance to mix 'n mingle with our 3 guests of honor:

Doc Hendley- Founder and President of Wine To Water and a Top Ten CNN Hero for 2009. He will be at the event to tell his story and explain how charitable donations fund projects in countries like Uganda, Haiti, Cambodia and elsewhere.

Jay Kopelman - Author/Lieutenant Colonel, US Marine Corps. Bestselling author, From Baghdad, With Love: A Marine, the War, and a Dog named Lava. National and local news military analyst and commentator.

Chef Jeff - Caterer and Personal Chef; Founder at Taste Culinary . Chef Jeff's clientele consists of individuals, business executives, and corporations, including Harpo Studios, O Magazine, Trump Chicago and Microsoft.

DowntownRob - Ambassador of Downtown. Rob is our guest bartender for the evening. He's everywhere - and everywhere you want to be. He is also an expert in social PR, so we will be livestreaming from the event.

Enjoy good wine, great food and a special presentation by Doc Hendley - all in the Cedros Design District of Solana Beach and the welcoming ambience of the Coast Highway Photography studio and gallery.

Opportunity drawings include items from Microsoft Corp, and a portrait session and fine art print from award-winning photographer Kevin M. Connors.

Nearly one billion people worldwide lack access to clean water. In fact, waterborne illnesses kill more people than HIV/AIDS and malaria combined. With your generous support, we can offer hope and clean water to those suffering worldwide.

General Donations are tax deductible and tax receipts will be sent to individuals following completion of the event. Opportunity tickets are not tax-deductible. Suggested donation at event - $25/per person.
